Alexandra-Maria-Lara
Alexandra Maria Lara was born in Romania. She is an actor from Romania and Germany. Her most famous films are Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. As the only children to Romanian actor Valentin Platareanu, Alexandra got into the showbiz world early and was performing lead roles in various television dramas by the time she reached the age of 16. The Oscar-nominated film Downfall the role she played as Secretary Traudljunge, Adolf Hitler's secretary was also critically acclaimed. The Reader as well as Der Baader Meinhof Komplex were also Oscar-nominated. Alexandra was engaged in numerous notable projects, both nationally as well as internationally. These projects include the British Biographical Film Control Greek Drama film The Dust of Time French Historical Miniseries Napoleon and many others. She also served in the jury panel of the Transylvania International Film Festival, and at Cannes Film Festival.
